My series, La Vida de Muerte, began with my own fascination with the Dias de los Muertos celebrations. The more I explored ideas for images, the less it became about the dead. La Vida de Muerte is about life. “As our soul is the foundation of who we are, the skeleton is the foundation of our physical being.” With this parallel in mind, my images are about happy souls. I invite you to join me, challenge the preconceived notions about the skeleton representing death. Let’s share a moment of joy and a celebration of life.
